1 Nephi 3: 7 - And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I awill go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no bcommandments unto the children of men, save he shall cprepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
It's all about having faith. Faith that all things are possible through Jesus Christ. As Nephi so demonstrated in the first book of the Book of Mormon, the Lord will prepare a way for us to accomplish the things which He commands us to do. He will not leave us in a limbo. He will guide us through the Holy Ghost to complete all things which are for our benefit and for others' benefit as well.
I've confronted dilemma where I felt like I'm not doing much of anything. Like things won't work out the way I expect them to. I am reminded of the scripture, 1 Nephi 3:7 and remember that if the Lord wills it then it will happen. Not in ways we expect it to. It can work out in a different way than we expected. We have to be careful not to fall into a trap where we think He didn't answer our prayers or didn't give us what we want. We have to accept His Will and recognize that He knows what is best for us. Even if we don't know why, these experiences will be for our own good. We just have to endure with patience and with eye single to the glory of God.
